High quality - you won't be disappointed
This kit is quite impressive. Great quality all around. The directions are better than Lego b/c in each step there is not only a picture of what piece snaps on where, but a 2nd picture showing what it should look like after you've finished that step. It helped catch errors along the way rather than getting it all together & having to troubleshoot what step you messed up on.
It's a bit difficult to pull apart the pieces once snapped together, which is ideal in a contraption that will see a lot of play. Even my 3 yr old can play with it and not a single piece has popped off (please note: I would not leave a small child unsupervised with it; the balls are ping-pong ball material & the size of a small bouncy ball. Serious choking hazard).
My 11 yr old son & I built it together. He tends to miss details when reading instructions, but if you're child is detail-oriented they will have no problems doing it on their own. Highly recommend.
